Mark your calendars and join us for an informative conversation on Corporate Philanthropy and ESG initiatives to help drive more and better corporate philanthropy. Explore how to align your corporate giving with your corporate commitment to gender equality. You’ll hear from industry experts:
Lisa Whiffen, Program Director of Champions of Change Coalition, will discuss how the Coalition leads and is accountable for change on gender equality issues in their organisations and communities, and how they work to enable the change, including producing resources like Sharpening our focus on corporate giving: keeping gender equality in the frame;
Lisa Keenan, Executive Director of MECCA M-POWER, will showcase how her team have applied gender-wise philanthropy principles and practices to their MECCA M-POWER social change program, to champion equality and opportunity for women and girls; and
Julie Reilly OAM, CEO of Australians Investing In Women, will share practical research and resources to help corporates apply a gender lens to their giving, to intentionally invest in women and girls and accelerate gender equality.

Presenters
Lisa Keenan - Executive Director, MECCA M-POWER Foundation
Lisa has extensive experience in corporate affairs and has worked as a strategic advisor to many leadership teams and Boards on everything from company transforming acquisitions to CEO and Board succession.
Co-founder of Nightingale Advisors, Lisa also serves as a Non-Executive Director at the ALLG, an organisation focused on improving the lives and survival rates of people with blood cancer.
Lisa is currently the Executive Director of MECCA M-POWER, focused on promoting gender equality and opportunities for women and girls.
Julie Reilly OAM - CEO, Australians Investing in Women (AIIW)
Julie is passionate about sharing the benefits of investing in women and girls through philanthropy and social investment. She was recognised for her impact in this work in Pro Bono’s inaugural IMPACT 25 Awards. Prior to leading Australians Investing in Women, Julie’s diverse experience spanned government, corporate, NFP, university and media roles. She has co-ordinated international OECD conferences, won an Excellence Award for her work with the National Centre for Gender and Cultural Diversity at Swinburne University and in 2017 was named in the Herald Sun’s 50 Women in Victoria You Should Know.
Julie has studied Philanthropy and Social Investment and has served on NFP and philanthropic boards. She currently holds Advisory Board roles with the Perpetual Foundation, Canadian based G(irls)20, and MECCA's M-POWER Program. Julie was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to study global strategies for increasing giving to women and girls and in 2018 travelled to the U.S, U.K and Europe to undertake this research. With her husband, Lindsay Field, she co-produced Myer’s annual Spirit of Christmas CD which, over 25 years, raised more than 8.5m for charity. Julie is most proud of co-producing two intelligent, independent, capable, compassionate daughters.
Julie was awarded a Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday 2021 Honours List. This award recognised Julie’s service to the community through charitable organisations.
