The aim of this session is to assist NFPs, social enterprises and foundations who also raise funds to learn more about how to demonstrate their impact to funders.

Join us online or in-person in Adelaide for this practical presentation aimed to assist you with developing your impact measurement.
Our speaker, Dr Liz Branigan, Philanthropy and Evaluation ('Phil Eval') Network Manager at Philanthropy Australia, will cover how you can use impact measurement in various engagement opportunities, including initial engagement/pitching, grant applications, grant reporting and acquittals. Liz will also highlight various resources available, both externally and within our Better Giving Hub online resource portal, in addition to previewing how you can utilise ABS data and table builder functions to minimise time spent identifying issues.

Dr Liz Branigan - Philanthropy Evaluation Network Manager at Philanthropy Australia
Liz leads the Philanthropic Evaluation Network – a national initiative to build the measurement, evaluation and learning capacity of funders and philanthropic organizations. In this role she designs and delivers professional learning programs, resources, and events that empower funders to evaluate their impact, partner investments, sustainability, and alignment with their strategy, mission and values.
Liz is an award-winning educator, with 20+ years of leadership expertise in the higher education, VET and for-purpose sectors. She is a skilled facilitator and curriculum expert, specialising in adult education and capability development. She holds a PhD in the social sciences, post-graduate qualifications in education, and received a Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy as global recognition of her leadership and impact in professional learning. She is a passionate and experienced Board Director, including being on the team that established The Luke Batty Foundation.
