Overview
Join the Social Enterprise Funders Group meeting to unpacking SEDI and the collaboration opportunities for philanthropy and government.
We are excited to bring you an informative and interactive session on the Social Enterprise Development Initiative (SEDI) - an $11.6m funding package from the new federal government to support the growth of the social enterprise sector.
In the session we will hear from several of the key stakeholders behind the design and roll out of SEDI:
-
- Judi Drown – Director, Social Impact Investing Policy, DSS (SEDI lead agency)
- David Hetherington – CEO of Impact Investing Australia (SEDI grant administrator)
- Jess Moore – CEO of Social Enterprise Australia (SEDI education and mentoring coordinator)
Together we will unpack the key initiatives within SEDI, update on roll out plans and discuss opportunities for collaboration and funding to leverage this significant investment from the federal government.
Please come prepared to join in the conversation and be part of several break out groups to explore how philanthropy can engage in SEDI and support the sector and their grant partners to truly engage with this incredible initiative.
- Please note that this is a virtual session only.
- Presenters will share their thoughts and views in conversation but will not offer any financial advice.
