Overview
Collective giving has expanded rapidly in Australia over the past decade. What was an emerging movement when the field was first mapped in 2017 is now an established and growing part of Australia’s philanthropic ecosystem.
Following the national launch of new Collective Giving research on 28 May, this session - held as part of Queensland Philanthropy Week - offers a timely opportunity to explore what’s driving this growth and what it means for the future of giving.
You will be amongst the first to hear from our Director of Knowledge and Practice about the key findings of the research and what they reveal about the evolution of the field.
You’ll then get to listen to our Executive Director of Membership and Engagement in conversation with Queensland-based leaders who are putting collective giving into practice across a range of models - from giving circles to community foundations and next-generation initiatives.
Whether you’re new to collective giving or already involved, join us for a dynamic lunchtime session to learn, connect, and explore how you can be part of this growing movement.
