Reconnect with fellow members, hear from leading conservation scientists, and enjoy exclusive early access to this year’s Lightscape before the general public at the Western Australian Botanic Gardens.
Lightscape 2025 promises to be bigger and brighter than ever before, consisting of more than 20 works by both local and international artists.

Exclusive Science Tour (Funder-Only)
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Take a rare, behind-the-scenes tour of the Kings Park Science Laboratories with Dr. Jason Clay Stevens, Principal Research Scientist. Explore the WA Seed Bank, discover the art of cryopreservation for endangered flora, and visit the advanced conservation genetics lab where scientists are protecting WA’s natural heritage. This is a unique opportunity to see firsthand the research driving biodiversity restoration across the state.

Mingle over drinks and light refreshments with other funders, friends, and members of the philanthropic community. It’s a chance to share ideas, explore collaborations, and deepen connections with like-minded peers committed to conservation and positive impact.

As night falls, enjoy Lightscape 2025—a stunning light and sound trail weaving through the Western Australian Botanic Garden. A world-renowned, award-winning spectacle, Lightscape transforms the park into an enchanting after-dark experience that brings WA’s flora to life in magical ways.

Dr. Jason Clay Stevens - Program Leader, Kings Park Science
Dr Jason Clay Stevens is a plant ecophysiologist specialising in mine site rehabilitation. He currently serves as the Principal Research Scientist and Program Leader for Kings Park Science.
Dr Steven’s research focuses on restoration science, with particular interests in restoration ecology, seed germination and plant physiology. For over 18 years, he has partnered with mining companies to develop internationally recognised practices for min site restoration. His work aims to inform and support conservation, ecological restoration, and sustainable development across the mining and agricultural sectors in Western Australia and beyond.
His restoration projects were recognised with the 2017 Golden Gecko Award for demonstrating innovation and excellence in environmental management in the resources sector.
