Code of Conduct

Philanthropy Australia is committed to providing a friendly, safe, and respectful environment at all our meetings and events. All Leadership Summit participants will be deemed by their attendance to have agreed to abide by the Code of Conduct

Language

The official Leadership Summit language is English. No simultaneous translations will be provided, except where otherwise indicated or specified.

Accessibility

We are committed to creating an inclusive experience for all attendees, and ask that all delegates provide details on any special requirements they may have so that we can be sure to accommodate them. As no one identified the need for an AUSLAN interpreter, we have not arranged one for this event. The event venue at Hotel Realm is accessible for people with physical disabilities. Philanthropy Australia staff will be in place to assist with guiding delegates up to the Ballroom space and to the Higher Courtyards. To find out more about venue access please visit the Hotel Realm website.

Sustainability

We are minimising our carbon footprint at the Leadership Summit. You can play your part by:
  • Bringing your drink bottle to refill from the water coolers.
  • Bringing a reusable coffee cup to use at the café or when getting a coffee.
  • Using our app. We have opted not to provide paper programs for everyone, so please download the official app.

Dress Code

Casual business attire.

Flights and accommodation to and from the Leadership Summit

Participants need to organise and pay for their own accommodation and flights to attend the Philanthropy Leadership Summit. It is not included in the registration fee. The Hotel Realm is offering a 15% discount for Leadership Summit participants. Further information can be found here

The app installation details will be provided to all participants in the lead-up to the event, as well as staff onsite if assistance is required.

Registration desk

There will be a registration desk onsite with four kiosks where delegates will be able to print out their name badges. If there are any issues (e.g. a delegate has accidentally input their details incorrectly in the backend of the system during registration), there will be an administrator kiosk available to support any updates required on the day.

Wi-Fi connection

There is free Wi-Fi available at the venue for all participants and available throughout the entire Leadership Summit.

Photography and image use

There will be professional photography at the Leadership Summit. Please note that by attending the Leadership Summit, you agree that we may record your image (photograph) and use for promotional purposes. Please let us know at the registration desk if you do not want to be photographed.

Name badges

Name badges must be worn at all times during the Leadership Summit. Access to the main ballroom will not be granted without a valid name badge. There will be a self-check-in system onsite which will scan the QR Code (sent by email in advance) and print your name badge prior to entering.
